About

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems at the Texas A&M University-Central Texas. I received Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston Clear Lake. I have worked for over a decade in the IT industry at reputed companies Infosys and REI Systems. I have led several projects at REI Systems and has extensive work experience with various databases and data warehousing technologies. Also, I have experience working with a wide range of data science and data analytics projects. My research and teaching interests include data analytics, data science, semantic web, database systems, data privacy and security, text mining, and healthcare IT systems. My research publications appeared in reputed venues such as IEEE Big data, IEEE cloud, IEEE Access, and Frontiers in Bigdata.
