Research Assistant, University of Maryland, Baltimore County (January 2018 to May 2022)​

Research 

• Developed ontologies or knowledge graphs for cloud and health-related regulations compliance lifecycle using semantic web, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL) and text analytics techniques.

• Built a framework for project module that requires information extraction from unstructured data applying deontic logic for text analysis.

• Collaborated with researchers to combine various regulatory works, this research provides a framework by building a semantically rich knowledge graph for the usage of intelligent systems. Made use of DL, ML, BERT, NLP and semantic web technologies.

• Conducted a research in the health domain, the role involved building a knowledge graph of HIPAA COVID policies.

• Authored two journals and six conference publications in the areas of text mining, cloud privacy and security, NLP, Semantic Web, artificial intelligence and data science in health.

Teaching

• Trained students in the Database applications lab to a class of 60 students. Trained students on SQL and PL/SQL.

• Served as a lab assistant to over 100 students to help with programming languages C, C++ and Core JAVA courses.
